ScapeGOAT Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using ScapeGOAT, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use ScapeGOAT. ScapeGOAT is operated by Gurus Software LLC.

2. What ScapeGOAT Provides

ScapeGOAT provides sports analytics, projections, playoff odds, power ratings, rankings, simulator tools, picks, scenario sharing, content exports, and related informational features. Outputs may include probabilities, rankings, projected scores, model lines, scenario impact, and editorial summaries.

3. Informational Use Only

ScapeGOAT projections, odds, simulations, rankings, model lines, and picks features are provided for informational, educational, research, and entertainment purposes only. They are not guarantees, financial advice, betting advice, gambling advice, or instructions to place any wager.

Sports outcomes are uncertain. You are responsible for your own decisions and should not rely on ScapeGOAT as the sole basis for any decision involving money, contests, fantasy sports, gambling, travel, safety, or other important matters.

4. Not a Sportsbook or Gambling Service

ScapeGOAT does not accept wagers, hold user funds for wagering, process bets, pay gambling winnings, provide sportsbook accounts, or operate as a betting platform. Do not use ScapeGOAT if doing so violates laws or rules that apply to you.

If gambling or sports betting is causing problems for you or someone you know, consider pausing related activity and seeking support from qualified resources in your jurisdiction.

5. Accounts and Picks

Some features may allow you to create an account, save picks, sync activity, or track a record. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.

Picks and records shown in ScapeGOAT are for product, entertainment, and analytics use. Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, ScapeGOAT picks features are not paid-entry contests, prize competitions, or gambling products.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to ScapeGOAT.
• Do not use ScapeGOAT to violate law, infringe rights, harass others, or distribute harmful content.
• Do not present ScapeGOAT output as official league, team, sportsbook, or financial advice.
• Do not remove ScapeGOAT branding from exported content when attribution is reasonably expected.

7. Intellectual Property and Sharing

ScapeGOAT, the ScapeGOAT name, product design, software, models, graphics, and original content are owned by Gurus Software LLC or its licensors. You may screenshot, quote, react to, and share ScapeGOAT pages, charts, and share cards on social media, streams, newsletters, and articles, provided you do not misrepresent ScapeGOAT content or remove attribution where practical.

8. Sports Data, Attribution, and Non-Affiliation

ScapeGOAT may use sports data sources, including nflverse-derived inputs, to create transformed analytics and projections. Data attribution and methodology notes are available on the About page.

ScapeGOAT is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any league, team, player association, sportsbook, data provider, or media company unless expressly stated. Team, league, and event names may be used for identification.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

ScapeGOAT may link to or integrate with third-party services, including authentication, analytics, newsletter, app store, sports data, hosting, database, and infrastructure providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

10. App Store Terms

If you download ScapeGOAT through the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement may apply unless ScapeGOAT provides a custom app license agreement through App Store Connect. These Terms govern your use of ScapeGOAT services, website content, and related features in addition to any app store terms that apply.

11. Disclaimers

ScapeGOAT is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that projections, simulations, odds, rankings, data, content, or services will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Sports data may be delayed, incomplete, corrected, or unavailable.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gurus Software LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or losses arising from your use of or inability to use ScapeGOAT.

13. Changes and Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue ScapeGOAT features at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
